Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions we get the most. Can't find yours? Contact support.

Does NomiPay store my crypto?

No. You connect an existing wallet and approve payments there. Approved payments are routed to the operator settlement wallet for bank processing.

Where can I use it?

The first planned corridor is Bhutan with one Partner Bank. Availability depends on onboarding, supported wallets and participating merchants.

How is the exchange rate set?

The Partner Bank daily rate is the primary quote source and is refreshed every 24 hours. Review the final rate and fees before approving a payment.

Do I need to verify my identity?

Yes. Phone verification and identity verification through Sumsub are part of onboarding before payments are enabled.
